I am a native of San Francisco, California, with undergraduate and graduate degrees in history.  I am currently living in Palo Alto, California, and work as a history teacher and guidance counselor at International School of the Peninsula.  In 2006, I had my first book published, Historic Photos of San Francisco.  I recently returned from a year abroad in Paris, where I attended the Sorbonne and researched and completed my second book, Historic Photos of Paris, which was published in Fall 2007.  I am currently conducting research for my third book, Historic Photos of the San Francisco Presidio.
